Used NukeX to paint out lens flares, modern elements (cars, boats, etc.), set equipment, and prosthetic seams. Also composited blood onto swords, spears, and walls. As well as added more whites to Bran’s and Hodor’s eyes when Bran used his warg abilities.

This season was nominated for 16 Primetime Emmy Awards. It won 2 including one for Outstanding Special Visual Effects. It also won 2 Hollywood Post Alliance Awards including one for Outstanding Visual Effects, and 4 Visual Effects Society Awards.

Used NukeX to paint out lens flares, modern elements (cars, boats, etc.), set equipment, and prosthetic seams. Also added blood to The Mountain’s sword, stabilized set elements for Joffrey’s funeral, and added scratches to Tyrion’s face for continuity.

Now You See Me

Used NukeX to composite backgrounds and elements together as well as paint out unwanted features.

Now You See Me received nominations for Best Thriller at the Academy Awards and Empire Awards. It won the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Thriller Movie.

Used NukeX to do cleanup and compositing on the following shots.

01) Fixed imperfections on the fake pregnant belly.

02) Removed step box and safety wires from scene. This required recreating Richard Gere’s leg as he stepped up as well as the road and street signs as the camera moved below them throughout the shot.

03) Darkened the scar to make it more visible.

WARNING! Next shot contains graphic imagery with blood.

04) Blended prosthetic into finger to appear realistic. Also added more streams and puddles of blood running down the side of his finger onto the cutting board.

Used NukeX to composite pyramids in desert shots as well as cleanup seams on the set floor. As well as minor beauty cleanup on closeups.

This video was nominated for a Video Music Award for Best Visual Effects.

A.R. Rahman – Infinite Love

I used After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop to design and animate texture maps for globe. This included coming up with a final layout for the continents in heart formation, then animating them into that position while keeping them lined up with the children’s hands. Used Illustrator and After Effects to design and animate other elements on the globe. These include The Great Wall of China which transforms into a dancing dragon and the 2d soccer ball being pushed by the child’s finger. All of these were composited using NukeX. I also used NukeX to help with the live action land mass shifting shots.
