Breakdown:
0 sec – Ryan Egan Logo Animation
Designed in Adobe Illustrator (Ai). Animated in Adobe After Effects (Ae).
Sound design was done in Ae using sounds from freesound.org and pixabay.com.

5 sec – Blade&Soul Tournament 2017 Logo Animation
Used Ae to animate the logo reveal with Video Copilot’s Saber plugin for the flames and Trapcode Particular for the embers.

10 sec – Guild Wars 2 Shing Jea Concept Art Animation
Using a layered psd from a Guild Wars 2 concept artist, I animated the scene. I had to cut up the bell a bit more in Photoshop (Ps) to get it to swing like that. Particular was used for the leaves. Turbulent Displace for everything else.

12 sec – Fuser Sign Up Web Header
Reconstructed the ferris wheel in Ae to animate it. I had the stage as a 3D element with texture maps to animate the screens and have fireworks cast light on it. Fireworks were done using Particular. The Fuser Logo was made of shape layers so I could animate the color shifts.

15 sec – Trader Joe’s Captain’s Meeting 2019 Transition
Used Ps to cut up the art for animation. Animation was done in Ae.

17 sec – Trader Joe’s Captain’s Meeting 2019 Spy Folder
Used Ae 3D layers to animate the folder and camera motion. Text animation was done in a separate composition within Ae.

20 sec – Fuser NC Logo Animation
Used Cinema 4D (C4D) and the RealFlow plugin to animate liquid filling the NC logo. Starglow and final color adjustments were added in Ae.

22 sec – Aion Classic Time Skip Animation
Used Ae to animate transition and Aion Classic logo.

25 sec – Lineage II Saviors Concept Art Animation
Had a layered psd from the Korean art team and animated it in Ae.

27 sec – Blade&Soul Shark Pet Animation
Captured the sharks in game using a green screen developer tool. Created the wave using Video Copilot’s Element 3D plugin. The trails in the water are created using Particular.

29 sec – Guild Wars 2 Jormag Rising Concept Art Animation
Used C4D to model the tunnel and project the concept art onto it. The back ice wall had a lot of layers that I could space out in z space in Ae. Camera motion and lighting effects were done in Ae.

30 sec – Blade&Soul Tournament 2018 Transition Animation
All animation was done in Ae.

33 sec – Del Cielo Brewing Co. Órale X Pablito’s Michelada Mix Social Animation
Used C4D and RealFlow to animate beer and michelada splashing together and around the can for social media promotion.

36 sec – Guild Wars 2 Roller Beetle Mount Web Page Background
Used Ae to composite the Roller Beetle over some environmental concept art.

37 sec – Guild Wars 2 Jade Bot Social Animation
Used Ae to composite the Jade Bot doing various emotes over various backgrounds and transition between them.

39 sec – Blade&Soul Forgotten Souls Logo Animation
Used C4D to extrude text into 3D objects. All animation was done in Ae.

41 sec – Lineage II Dark Legacy Text Slate
Used C4D to extrude text into 3D objects. All animation was done in Ae.

42 sec – Guild Wars 2 Clockwork Chaos Text Slate
All animation was done in Ae, timing all the cog turns to ticking sounds in the video.

44 sec – Guild Wars 2 Clockwork Chaos Logo Animation
(Sped up for reel) All animation was done in Ae, timing all the cog turns and motion to ticking sounds in the video.

48 sec – Guild Wars 2 End of Dragons Logo Animation
All animation was done in Ae. Effects used are many instances of Particular, Fractal Noise, Warp, Turbulent Displace, Puppet Pins, and Displacement Maps.

0 sec – Ryan Egan Logo Animation
Designed in Adobe Illustrator (Ai). Animated in Adobe After Effects (Ae).
Sound design was done in Ae using sounds from freesound.org.

5 sec – She Rocks Logo Animation
Designed “SHE ROCKS” in Ai. Crowd, stage, and speakers were put together in Ae using stock images/footage. Stage lights, camera flashes, sparks, and fire effects were created using a mixture of solids, masks, Glow, Red Giant Starglow, Shine, and Particular. Guitartist is footage from the She Rocks film.

12 sec – Shinobi Lower Thirds
Background is Shinobi concept art from Sega I cut it apart in Adobe Photoshop (Ps). Ps file was brought into Ae to animate separate elements and blend with old paper texture. Lower Third is a Shinobi Sword Concept Art, stock footage of a ribbon, and text layers. Ribbon has various plugin effects added to get cell shaded cartoon look.

14 sec – Princess Cruises Ted Lange Introduction
All roto, effects and text were animated in Ae.

19 sec – Princess Cruises Logo
Used Ae’s 3d Tracker to track cruise ship footage. Used wave warp to add wind to the “hair”. Used displacement on shadow created using Ae lights.

23 sec – Princess Cruises “The Isaac”
All roto, effects and text were animated in Ae.

26 sec – Kubota Power To Do Great Things
Broke text into layers in Ai. Animated in Ae using Starglow and Advanced Lightning plugins.

28 sec – Animated Still
Image cut apart in Ps. Layers animated in Ae. Plugins used are Particular, Ripple and Video Copilot’s Optical Flares.

30 sec – Scaryopolis Logo Animation
Used stock images of buildings and Ae 3d lights to animate the Scaryopolis Logo.

41 sec – Shinobi Transition #1
Transition is concept art from Sega I rotoed in Ae. The stock footage of a ribbon was added to artwork to add illusion of dragging in the wind current.

42 sec – ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Animation
Used Video Copilot’s Sure Target to animate camera in Ae.

46 sec – Kubota Get Set To Save
Broke elements into layers in Ai. Animated in Ae using CC Page Turn and Red Giant Shadow plugins.

48 sec – Shinobi Transition #2
Background is same as “Shinobi Lower Thirds”. Transition is concept art from Sega I rotoed in Ae. The stock footage of a ribbon was added to artwork to add illusion of dragging in the wind current.

49 sec – Kubota We Are Sky Logo Animation
Night sky was created in Ae using Fractal Noise, masks, Particular and Starglow. Kubota “Circle K” was modeled in Cinema 4D. Used Video Copilot’s Element 3D to animate in Ae. Optical Flares used for flash of light.

Used Nano Banana in Google’s Gemini to do a realistic rendition of my logo. I did some touchups in Photoshop. Then I brought it into After Effects and transitioned between the 2D design and the 3D-looking AI redesign.

House Ryan

“We are House Ryan” audio was generated with Speechify. The opening sequence was composited using After Effects.

The family motto was generated using Sora 2. The vertical video was expanded to widescreen using Photoshop generative fill.

The Ryan Family Banner was generated with Gemini, and the griffin heads were added in Photoshop.

All animation and compositing were done in After Effects.
